Manage multi-faceted communications strategies with new and existing donors and information seekers using the web, while applying direct marketing techniques to drive revenue and take part of an organization-wide strategic plan to increase national awareness, strengthen March of Dimes’ (MOD) brand and improve focus on mission to better reach and engage existing donors and advocates, new donors and advocates, and the general public.
Position Responsibilities:
Drive and increase traffic to our family of websites. Create opportunities to cultivate and recruit volunteers through social networking sites. Oversee our presence on media sites such as YouTube and Flickr.Develop growth plan of visitors to family of sites that can be measured in web analytics and Gallup poll.Analyze web data to assess ROI, conduct "conversation audits".Create and expand upon E-PR efforts, place banner ads, etc. Work closely with e-mail marketing group to focus efforts.Oversee Search Engine optimization. Responsible for Google Grant (keywords).Drive Revenue - formulate creative ideas for virtual fundraisers and support chapter efforts. Create relationships that allow us to find donors on external sites, find ways to reach core demographic online and create strategies for appealing to new demographics. Develop strategies and tools to help other areas of the foundation as they approach potential partners.Create e-marketing plans for new campaigns, including re-branding of March of Dimes and March for Babies.
Qualifications Required:
Expertise in E-Marketing/Public Relations strategies and implementation via the web.Experience with Search Engine Optimization.Proven ability to drive revenue through web strategies.Previous experience creating web-based marketing plans.Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.Ability to write and meet project plans and deadlines.Proficient MS Office Skills, Internet Savvy. Must be a self-starter.
