Internal Auditor

The Archdiocese of Galveston – Houston is seeking a professional Internal Auditor to conduct operational and financial audits for management to assess effectiveness of internal controls, accuracy of financial records, and efficiency of operations and compliance with policies and procedures at parishes and schools in the greater Houston area with NO OVERNIGHT TRAVEL.  Also assist Director of Audit with special projects, investigations, and contractor audits.  Bachelor’s degree is required, with a major in Accounting, Finance, Business or other related degree.  Successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of current auditing experience, preferably in the not-for-profit sector, excellent analytical and communication skills, and computer competency.  MBA and/or certification (CIA) is a plus.  Position offers competitive salary and Diocesan benefits.  Email your resume to: HR@archgh.org .  Please place on the subject line: Internal Auditor.  NO AGENCIES PLEASE.
