Leading Washington nonprofit seeks a new team member to join our HR department and lead recruitment efforts, creating a direct impact in our community. In this position, you will:
Assess staffing needs, design internal/external recruitment materials, target recruitment to attract qualified candidates and pre-screen applications; Coordinate and present new orientation training, and train and advise supervisory staff on performance management; and Maintain current and complete HRIS database and hard copy recordkeeping on all employees.As our ideal candidate, you have:
A minimum of two years human resource experience; A high school diploma/GED equivalent; Excellent organizational skills and thorough attention to detail; An ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines; Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HRIS database systems and MS Office applications; and An ability to communicate effectively with applicants, employees and management, both orally and in writing.
