We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resource Assistant Director for our Human Resources department. This position will drive and execute critical human resource processes throughout the organization to accomplish key business objectives, implement culture change, and to assure that the organization has the capability to achieve its strategies. Oversees the coordination of all human resource efforts in leading and designing the effective and consistent delivery of human resources programs that enhance the mission, purpose, core values, culture, and deliverables of the organization. Responsibilities: Implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, benefits, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and AA/EEO compliance. Oversees the coordination of resources delivered by other HR professionals to achieve objectives, including development of department goals, establishing appropriate timelines, delegating tasks necessary to complete projects, monitoring progress and maintaining effective communication with direct reports Formulates, interprets, and administers Human Resource operating policies/practices that are in compliance with federal /state laws, organization policies/practices, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) Communicates Fund and HR policies, new programs, policy changes, and benefits to Fund personnel, and promotes compliance. Develops human resources operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results. Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation, and insures Fund’s compliance. Identifies and recommends advances in Human Resource Information, Applicant Tracking, security, and time keeping systems technology; develops and maintains systems that meet organizational needs. Other duties and special projects as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field; plus Minimum six (6) yrs of extensive HR experience to include a full range of HR management responsibilities, e.g. policy and procedure development and interpretation, employment and labor law compliance, recruitment, benefits programs, compensation programs, and HRIS development. Four (4) years practical experience supervising professional HR staff, or working with both exempt and non-exempt personnel in an HR environment. Strong Human Resource generalist experience as an effective strategist and practitioner with a solid track record of successful execution of HR programs Experience in Human Resources working in a unionized environment required; experience working in a healthcare setting preferred Thorough knowledge of applicable state and federal laws and HR best practices Outstanding communication and presentation skills required as are strong management and leadership skills Proficient computer skills including Windows, Excel, Word, and Intranet/Internet Technology including HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems, Timekeeping, and security access systems We offer a competitive salary, an excellent fully employer-paid comprehensive benefits package and talented professional colleagues.
