Making a difference since 1946, Cardinal McCloskey Services (CMS), is a not for profit human services agency providing abused and neglected children, at-risk families and developmentally disabled adults with the hope of a brighter future by providing millions of hours of services each year to 3,100 children and 2,000 families. Daily, CMS provides care to more than 1,500 children and their families and nearly 100 adults and teenagers with mental retardation helping to enhance the quality of their lives and support the sanctity of families.

The Human Resources Assistant is an entry level position with exceptional opportunity for advancement. The successful candidate will possess superior computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and internet research. This is a wonderful opportunity for a recent college graduate with an interest in Human Resources. Responsibilities include:Complete reference checks for all possible hires via fax, phone and mail, which includes college, business and personal Provides clerical support in our recruitment effort, helps in coordination of applicant notification and follow-up process Assist with monthly new hire orientation Create, update and distribute company directory on a quarterly basis Assist with the maintenance of human resources files as well as consultant agreements Answer phones, accurately relay messages and record information Operate various types of office machines (copy, fax, postage, etc) Provide monthly use postage report Assist with the coordination of our annual open enrollment process
