Fundraising Director, Radiothon
Work for a cause that makes a real difference for kids. Children’s Miracle Network, an international children’s charity, whose mission for the past 25 years has been to generate funds and awareness in partnership with and for the benefit of its member hospitals/foundations and the children they are privileged to serve, seeks Director, Radiothon. Responsible for conducting sales training and the planning and implementation of Radiothon programs in assigned markets. Will work with hospitals participating in the Radiothon program and partner radio stations to assist in the creation and execution of programs designed to generate revenue for the stations.
Qualifications & Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, or Marketing and Sales preferred with a minimum of 5 years related radio experience.
· Strong working knowledge of the radio industry-formats, ratings, media buying and technology.
· Effective and professional presentation skills.
· Proficient in both written and verbal communications.
· Excellent verbal communication skills.
· Extensive travel is required.
· Able to provide working space in home for office needs if working/living outside of the Salt Lake City area.
Sample Benefit Package for full-time staff
Health insurance - 95% premiums is paid for both you and your family by the company. Benefit begins on the 1st of the month following 30 consecutive days of work (i.e., if you begin June 27th, August 1 is when the benefit begins). Dental insurance - 95% premium is paid for both you and your family by the company. Benefit begins on the 1st of the month following 30 consecutive days of work. Life insurance - $50,000 is paid 100% for you by the company. $2,000 life insurance is paid 100% by the company for each of your dependents. Benefit begins on the 1st of the month following 30 consecutive days of work. LTD /STD- premium is paid 100% for you by the company. Benefit begins on the 1st of the month following 30 consecutive days of work. Vacation is given up front. If you start December 27th you will receive 1 week of prorated vacation. Beginning January 2007, you will receive two weeks’ vacation. After 6 years you earn a maximum of 4 weeks’ vacation. All vacation must be used by December 31. Sick leave is earned at six days per year. 60 day maximum accrual. Holidays – you will be paid for 11 holidays each year. Retirement - after 1 year of employment and on the opening date (March 1 or Sept 1) you will be enrolled in the retirement plan. 15.2% of compensation up to $30,000, plus 4.3% of compensation in excess of $30,000 will be paid into the plan by Children's Miracle Network. You pay nothing. Full vesting is 6 years.
