Foundation Researcher
The Louise Blouin Foundation believes in the unique power of culture and creativity as catalysts for positive change. The Foundation has two main aims:
To encourage a better understanding of foreign affairs and culture beyond borders through international cooperation, exchange and dialogue for the 21st century.
To explore the broader practical significance of creativity and the creative potential of the human brain.
We are an international not-for-profit organization working as an investor, originator and partner to pursue our goals.
The primary initiative of the Louise Blouin Foundation is the Global Creative Leadership Summit: a Globalization Platform that unites 120 leading figures in the areas of politics,science, technology, culture and business with Heads of State and representatives from global agencies. In Partnership with the United Nations,the Summit advises on the restructuring of countries within an era of globalization,encouraging collaboration between global agencies, corporations and civil society in order to best address global development issues and the changing dynamics of global geo-economics and geo-politics.
Responsibilities:
Research and document the latest information on a wide range of global development issues, including but not limited to: Foreign policy, Cultural understanding, Poverty, the Environment, Natural resources, The developing world, Global trade, Geo-economics and Global governance Develop and disseminate research and findings to international leaders, global agencies and media outlets
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree and graduate work in International Relations / Public Policy, and/or economics working toward a PhD. Demonstrated understanding of International Affairs / Globalization. Excellent research / academic skills and experience. Superior writing ability.
