Field Representative
Job Duties for District 3 Field Staff:
1. Responsible for management of the assigned field district.
2. Maintains functional and active district chapters.
3. Promotes Association growth and develops chapter recruiting programs
to ensure growth.
4. Actively participates in the development and implementation of
statewide
recruiting programs.
5. Organizes grassroots membership around issues of importance.
6. Schedules in advance and provides flyers of notice for weekly
worksite visits and recruitment opportunities.
7. Counsels members regarding job-related complaints or grievances.
8. Provides suggestions for resolutions and alternatives on job-related
issues and complaints.
9. Develops and delivers consistent local, regional and statewide
leadership training for chapter leaders as approved by membership director.
10. Develops, identifies and delivers consistent worksite representative
training.
11. Presents up-to-date and accurate information at chapter meetings.
12. Advises chapter leaders according to adopted policies.
13. Maintains up-to-date and accurate records of officers and chapter
governance documents.
14. Makes timely and accurate reports as required.
15. Organizes and facilitates legislative endorsement process with
chapters.
16. Responsible to advise, facilitate and provide support for assigned
committees.
17. Responsible for vitalization and participation of district chapters
in TSEA events.
18. Performs other duties as assigned.
