Director of Individual and Corporate Giving

Zoo New England is seeking to fill the position of the Director of Individual and Corporate Giving. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a creative, self-driven and innovative fundraising professional to help shape, and develop Zoo New England’s Institutional and Corporate Giving programs.

Reporting directly to the VP of Institutional Advancement, the Director of Individual and Corporate Giving will play a key role in this highly visible position in the cultivation of individual and corporate donors, and the solicitation of major gifts and corporate contributions.

The Director of Individual and Corporate Giving will help formulate growth strategies for all aspects of individual and corporate giving and set challenging yet achievable fund-raising goals for annual, capital and endowment giving programs.  S/he will be actively engaged in the ongoing activities of identification, relationship development, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of new prospects and long-term major and planned gift donors. 

 

Minimum Requirements:

  Bachelor’s degree Minimum of three years development experience, with a minimum of five years experience working with individual and institutional donors A proven track record of successfully soliciting major gifts and corporate support A strong commitment to the mission of Zoo New England
