We are seeking a passionate, driven, talented manager to serve as the Director of Home Delivery Meals in Anderson at our headquarters. Under the supervision of the Executive Vice President, the Director of Home Delivery Meals is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the day to day operations of the Home Delivered Meals Program. Supervision is exercised over subordinates responsible for departments. Work is reviewed through reports and observation of the success of the programs.

§        Administers agency’s Home Delivered Meals program.
§        Is responsible for preparation of required agency home delivered meals reports.
§        Is responsible for the oversight of the daily scheduling process, ensuring that the schedules are efficient, timely, and meet the necessary needs of  clients.
§        Maintains adequate inventory and provides inventory control measures.
§        Maintains departmental records and files.
§        Maintains vehicle inventory list.
§        Maintains schedule for vehicle maintenance and is responsible for carrying out an effective maintenance schedule.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Develop, administer, manage, and monitor a division budget. Develop and administer policies, procedures, plans and activities and to monitor the performance of subordinates against measured established goals. Develop and administer operations and staff plans and objectives for the expedience and effectiveness of the specific duties of the position. Develop and implement long-term goals for the department in order to promote effectiveness and efficiency. Thorough knowledge of all applicable laws, ordinances, policies, standards and regulations pertaining to the specific duties and responsibilities of the job. Remains fully knowledgeable of any changes in policy, methods, operations, budgetary and equipment needs, etc. as they pertain to departmental operations and activities. Assemble information and make written reports and documents in a concise, clear and effective manner. Strong organizational, management, human relations, and technical skills. Able to use independent judgment and discretion in managing subordinates, including the handling of emergency situations, determining and deciding upon procedures to be implemented, setting priorities, maintaining standards, and resolving problems. Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply regulations, procedures, and related information. Knowledgeable and proficient with computers. Able to read, understand, and interpret personnel and financial reports and related materials. Skilled in the use of computers and other office equipment, test and diagnostic equipment, and maintenance equipment.

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE Previous management experience in related business. College degree in business preferred.
