Non-profit organization has an immediate opening for an experienced creative individual to oversee the development program of the agency. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with the community are required. The organization provides resources to the senior community and is located in Downtown Portland. This is a temporary to hire/permanent opportunity. Pays $40-45K per year, DOE.The responsibility of the Development Manager is to work closely with the Executive Director on development and implementation of resource strategies. Will also be responsible for developing/maintaining the nonprofit’s development plan.§ Work with team to develop a strategic funding plan.§ Implement strategic funding plan including developing a plan to obtain new donors, increasing gifts from donors.§ Identify funding opportunities from various sources.§ Develop, organize and oversee events.Requirement:§ Minimum of 5-7 years of development management experience.§ Degree in marketing, public relations or related field.§ Proven track record in soliciting gifts and increasing donor base.§ Ability to work in small office environment.§ Experience in working with nonprofit sectors, foundations and institutions.§ Experience in grant writing.§ Ability to work with a diverse population.§ Raiser’s Edge Software required.Apply now at www.nwstaffing.com Northwest Staffing Resources has been a leader in the staffing industry for the past 23 years.
