Data Manager
The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation is seeking a part-time data manager in Santa Monica, CA or Washington, DC to assist with the analysis of the 2008 EGPAF-affiliated site profile review, involving 230 HIV care & treatment sites in five countries in Africa.
The Data Manager will work with the project managers to develop a database framework, perform data entry, run statistical analyses and compile data summary reports.
Responsibilities:
- Compile completed electronic site profile forms
- Develop a database framework in Access
- Perform data entry & data quality checks
- Perform data analyses & run summary statistics reports
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in statistics or epidemiology
- Strong computer skills & experience in Access, STATA, and/or Epi info
- Previous experience in data management & statistical analysis
- previous experience in international research projects desirable
- Ability to work independently, organize & prioritize tasks
Duration: 30 hours per week for 3 months
