DIRECT CARE - COUNSELOR ADVOCATE
DIRECT CARE COUNSELOR ADVOCATE Littleton Group Home, a program of Justice Resource Institute, is located in a Victorian home for 16 adolescent boys, situated on 2.5 acres in Littleton, MA. The Group Home has young men who have been referred to us by the Department of Social Services, a majority of whom, are without family involvement. We are seeking dedicated and caring professionals who are skilled at counseling and forming meaningful rapport to assist these young men in preparing for independent living, college, gainful employment and/ or reunification with family or kin. Qualifications: BA in psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work or related field.Duties: establish and maintain sound professional relationships with individuals served and support them in becoming productive young adults.Responsibilities: include but are not limited to: working as member of the clinical treatment team, do weekly individual counseling; direct supervision of the population served; guide, nurture and teach the skills necessary for family reunification, independent living, gainful employment and/ or college. 2 Full time Positions Available: 40 hours: 4 day work week : a) Sun.,Wed, Thurs, Fri shift andb) Mon.,Tues, Wed, - Sat. shift..Salary - $25,000 - $28,800 Benefits: medical, dental, short / long term disability, life insurance, vacation, sick and personal leave; tuition reimbursement, tuition remission, tax-benefit dependent care and medical plans, 401K, pension plans.
