The company
Our client, A Boston based non profit has engaged our services to search for a Controller VP Finance. This is terrific work environment and an extremely high quality of life situation with very normal work hours.
The job
The Controller VP Finance will be responsible for all financial and operationally oriented duties such as completion of monthly financial statements/reports, 501c3, benefit plan maintenance, tax, assuring propriety of audit and internal control policies and procedures, managing cash and investment portfolio and attending to overall running of financial department staff.
Background
The ideal candidate for this opening would have extensive exposure to a non profit setting with
responsibility for full cycle accounting/finance/tax etc…Ability to work very independently while managing staff personnel is required.
Bachelor of Science in Business related discipline required. Exposure within public accounting specifically with non profit clients very desirable. CPA/MBA helpful although not required.
Compensation
Salary is expected to be in the $100, 000++ range and is flexible based on background/credentials.
