Grand Central Neighborhood Social Services runs a 24-hour drop-in center dedicated to providing emergency assistance to homeless men and women in Midtown Manhattan. We offer both basic necessities (food, clothing, showers, and chairs for respite) and a range of social services, including employment counseling, treatment referrals, and housing assistance.  We are currently seeking candidates for the following full-time positions. Excellent oral and written communication skills required.  Executive Assistant

Responsibilities include communications with government agencies, grant writing, and office management. Works closely with executive director on scheduling and correspondence. Bachelor’s degree and office experience.Assistant Director of Social Services

Works closely with case management team and networks with service agencies within the community. Master’s degree and social services and supervisory experience. Activities Coordinator

Develops programs and workshops directed toward client needs, including employment, health, and recreation.  Bachelor’s degree and programming experience.
