Description

Community Network Services, an award winning “Cool Places to Work” and leader in recovery oriented, community case management services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses in Oakland Co. is seeking a Clinical Quality Analyst.

 

Please Note:  This is NOT a Manufacturing position. You MUST HAVE a CLINICAL background in order to qualify.

Job Summary  and Responsibilities:
As part of the Department of Quality Management Team, the Clinical Quality Analyst will work in a non-profit health care/clinical environment and will perform quantitative and qualitative record review of  clinical  records which includes summarizing findings and generating trends and  reports to the Manager of the QM Department; Participates in general quality overseeing as mandated in accordance with contract requirements, accreditation standards, and state/federal regulations and law.

 

Requirements

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing from an accredited institution or other relevant Human Services discipline along with a State Licensure in Social Work, LBSW or equivalent certification.

Minimum of 2 years full-time relevant human services/case management experience, strong clinical skills preferably in a community mental health setting.

 

Special Skills/ Aptitudes:
Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills.


Demonstrate attention to detail


Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Excellent customer service orientation skills necessary in order to deal effectively with various levels of agency personnel, outside customers, and community groups.

 

 Good knowledge and ability to use Excel and Microsoft Word

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Review and analyze medical records for compliance with CNS, CMH, DCH, and CARF standards.

Analyze and interpret data from various internal and external sources relative to quality.

Assist in the development of quality improvement strategies.

Conduct Quality Assessment and Customer Satisfaction Surveys as required.

Develop reports based on record reviews and present findings in meetings as requested.

Monitor CRS homes for compliance.

Assist in the coordination of audits, quality improvement  and performance improvement efforts.

Demonstrate competency in Key Dimensions for this classification.

Demonstrate and actively promote an understanding and commitment to the mission and values of Community Network Services through performing behaviors consistent with the Organizational Code of Ethics

Maintain a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations, the Corporate Compliance Program, Code of Ethics, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior.

Support and conduct one’s self in a manner consistent with customer service expectations.

 

Lead or participate in at least one process improvement initiative (task force, committee, team, etc.) each evaluation period.
