CCIS Eligibility Coordinator
The YWCA Greater Pittsburgh is accepting resumes for the Eligibility Coordinator position located at our CCIS North Side site, CCIS City site and CCIS East Pittsburgh site.
Eligibility Coordinator
This position requires the employee to use knowledge of regulations, rules and procedures. The Eligibility Coordinator applies judgment regarding eligibility determinations for state subsidy while supporting and integrating with all CCIS units. This position also requires data entry skills, good communications skills, a high level of organization and strong customer service skills. Knowledge of the childcare system is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities for the Eligibility Coordinator position include:
*Interviewing and counseling clients for the purpose of obtaining, recording, evaluating and determining eligibility for the child care program.
*Organizing and managing a case load to ensure timely eligibility determination and ongoing case management.
*Counsel clients on their rights and responsibilities as recipients of subsidized child care benefits through individual conferencing, phone communication and written correspondence.
*Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current DPW eligibility regulations and determine applicability to individual cases.
Minimum Qualifications for all positions:
Associates, Business or Technical Degree with two (2) years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma with three (3) years of relevant experience.
