Associate General Counsel

This position would report directly to the company’s Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel. Candidates must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have experience providing legal advice to highly-driven, senior executives.
In this position, the individual will be responsible for:
1) structuring, drafting and negotiating company agreements in all areas of business, 2) giving advice regarding family law matters 3) responding to legal inquiries of a diverse nature regarding corporate and business matters. 4) Draft and negotiate real estate documents. 5) fulfilling legal administrative duties including: organizing, filing, copying legal documents, etc.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will thrive on a varied portfolio of work and have the following:
o   A law degree from a top 50 law school; admission to the Colorado Bar.
o   2-4 years experience.
o    A proven ability to work as a team member and guide cross-functional teams.
o   The ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.
o   Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
o   The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
o   A proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment.
o   Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work well with people.
o   Knowledge of open source software and/or corporate law a plus.
