Associate Manager, Administrative Development Support Services

The Honolulu Symphony is seeking a qualified candidate withstrong administrative and organizational skills to manage not only the day today office operations, but provide special event and grant support to theDirector of Development and other managers.

 

We are looking for an energetic individual who enjoysworking in a high paced environment and is able to multi-task.  Successful candidates must have strongcomputer skills, particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel and other relateddatabases.  Mail Merge experience is alsohighly desired.

 

Requirements andresponsibilities include:

 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Ability to work well with cross-section of staff and outsidevendors

Accuracy in keeping detailed information and conveyinginformation clearly

Professional writing, editing, and proofreading skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities – time managementskills a must

Able to handle calls for information from the general public

Able to coordinate a variety of volunteers participating ina cadre of events and programs

Must be available to work nights & weekends

 

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
