Assistant Registrar
Glen Echo Park seeks a part-time Assistant Registrar to support the arts education program of a large arts center located in a National Park in the Washington, DC area. Duties include: Registrar/Program Support:-    Service students who want to register for classes via phone, online, email and in person-   Provide information as requested to instructors and arts groups in the Park-   Process all registrations received through various methods, including phone, fax, mail, in-person and online-   Input of all class registrations, student information and payment information into an online database system-   Attend various Partnership-sponsored classes to verify pre-registrations and take new registrations -   Monitor building schedule and ensure that building is properly closed and opened and that classrooms are kept clean-   Update general mailing lists for the PartnershipAdministrative & Other Duties-   Act as general reception for the Partnership, which includes a variety of tasks from sale of art work to class registration to facilitating classroom rentals to dispensing general information to the public-   Provide clerical support to the Business Manager and senior staff and provide general office support-   Provide support to the Executive Director as needed in conducting affairs of the organization and supporting the Board of Directors-   Other duties as assignedGeneral Expectations:-   Be on-time and consistent in reporting to work during hours listed below-   Behave professionally and courteously at all times -   Maintain a professional demeanor-   Act as an excellent representative of the PartnershipMust be 18 or older, with administrative and customer service experience. The position is part-time, $12/hour. Flexible weekday hours are available during Partnership office hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and weekday evenings 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. Additional hours available for special events.
