Administrative/Case Management Support Specialist

Greater Lynn Senior Services provides a wide range of social services for elders and people with disabilities – information, transportation, meals, advocacy, homecare, housing, and more—for one reason: to help those 60 and older in Lynn, Lynnfield, Nahant, Saugus and Swampscott live fuller, more independent lives, safely and with dignity. This position will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the Consumer Services Department. Responsibilities include completing all tasks related to consumer terminations, program transfers and agency transfers. Generates SIMS consumer reports such as action reports, program reports, and/or care plan end dates for the Director of Home Care Programs, Fiscal Department, and/or Program Managers. Contacts vendors regarding service provisions to GLSS consumers to either initiate, change, suspend, and/or terminate services. Maintains an up-to-date awareness of Agency, staff, and program issues/information and ensures that Supervisor and peers are also informed on these matters. Qualifications: - Secretarial or office experience a must; - Ability to use various software applications; - Possess excellent communication skills; and - Ability to perform routine functions such as filing, photocopying, and keeping logs.
