Administrative Assistant II

 

Job Description:

 

The incumbent will provide administrative support to the Director of Training and Organizational Development and Trainers in the Training Department; maintain staff training records in compliance with government regulations and CIL policies and procedures.  Responsibilities include all clerical and administrative duties related to Training and Organizational Development including general office functions such as computer use,

filing, copying, faxing, typing, mailing and phones.  Other responsibilities include scheduling, tracking, preparing reports, responding to general inquires both verbally and in writing and maintaining confidential documents and files. 

 

Required Education and Experience:

 

Associate’s Degree in Business or Secretarial Science along with 3 years of administrative experience (additional relevant work experience may substitute for educational requirements on a year for year basis).  Must have excellent organizational, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. Prior experience with records/file maintenance and accurate data entry; must be detail oriented; and possess the ability to maintain confidentiality.  Experience in interacting effectively with people with disabilities is preferred.
