Administrative Assistant- Children's Ministry

Trinity United Presbyterian Church is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Children's Department (Infant- 6th Grade). This position is responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties involving frequent visitor contact. Coordinates flow of communications and office, high call volume, responds to inquiries and provides information related to programs, schedules, activities and policies and procedures. Inputs data into database, registrations, composes correspondence, formats publications such as flyers and other materials, develops and maintains schedules and event calendars. Other administrative duties as assigned. A minimum of 3 years of administrative experience required. Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and other computer applications (including previous experience working with a database system) and able to handle a variety of tasks interchangably. Position is 35 hours per week (7 hours per day Monday- Friday) and includes benefits.

 

Previous church, community and/or non-profit background a plus.
