Accounting/Payroll Associate
The Accounting Associate implements payroll to include, but not limited to, accurately key, edit, and transmits all payroll related data using the payroll system, compiles timesheets and calculates overtime, travel/expense sheets, maintains employee payroll and agency payroll files, verifies, distributes, and corrects as needed W-2’s, garnishments, quarterly NYS disability calculations, payroll-related records, etc. Maintains payroll system software and other related payroll files.
Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of accounting-related experience or High School Diploma/GED with 3 to 5 years accounting-related experience; preferably in the not-for-profit sector. Knowledge of typing and use of 10-key calculator, ability to use various computer applications in the Windows environment, to include Word, Excel and Access, and experience using Mas 90 is preferred. Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Valid NYS Driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
