ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF TALENT ACQUISITIONS
Queens Library, a private non-profit corporation, located in Queens, New York, is the highest circulating library in the country. The Queens Library includes 62 public libraries with 1,800 employees. We are looking for dynamic individual to join our Human Resources Department as the Assistant Director of Talent Acquisitions.
The Assistant Director of Talent Acquisitions will lead the talent acquisition team, partner with business units, and develops and implement best practices to deliver world-class talent acquisition – from process design through performance metrics. Duties include oversight and management of work force planning and project management through leadership of the Recruitment, HR Administration and Compensation teams. Lead tactical planning and execution of the talent acquisitions solutions and systems that are integral to QL’s business plans, people and culture. Strengthens the library’s diversity and overall talent acquisition capability through partnerships, initiatives and networking to support the library’s acquisitions strategies. Lead innovation for our development approach and people systems by identifying and developing solutions. Stay abreast of industry best practices relating to ROI and other metric systems/techniques.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
8-10 years of broad-based HR Generalist experience with a strong focus on Recruitment and Compensation in a high growth/fast paced company. Must have a minimum of 4 years in a leadership/management role. Experience developing and implementing effective talent acquisition solutions. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels in a team-oriented environment. Excellent verbal and written communications and presentation skills. Must be independent, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and energetic environment. Bachelor's degree required. Master's in HR management or business management preferred. HR Certification a plus. May travel up to 15%. Salary up to 100K.
