POSITION SPECIFICATION
Summary:
United States Steel (USS) has an immediate opening for a Transaction Tax Accountant This entry level position will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, in the Transaction Tax (primarily sales and use and excise tax) area of the USS Tax Division.
Major Responsibilities: Assist with federal and state tax audits Assist with preparation of federal and state tax returns Review and update current tax compliance procedures to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws Perform account analysis of accrued tax liabilities Research federal and state implications of various transaction
