Senior Procurement/Supply Analyst
Novelis Corporation (www.novelis.com), a member of the Aditya Birla Group, has an immediate opening ofr a Senior Procurement/Supply Analyst in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.Job Purpose The incumbent is responsible for analysis and management of strategic procurement data to help identify areas of potential risk or opportunity. Position also responsible for developing, maintaining, and publishing procurement metrics dashboard. The incumbent will be expected to be capable of interpreting the results of the analysis and be able to make recommendations on key areas of concern. Key Job Functions % Time Spent on Annualized Basis1Data Compilation and Reporting. Develop and track procurement metrics including areas of spend, requisition-to-payment process, operational efficiencies, and supplier performance. Interpret key procurement metrics to identify areas of potential risk or opportunity and present recommendations to Procurement Manager. Ensure availability of optimal reporting tools for management and user community to conduct analytical decision making. Measure accurate and efficient execution of procurement responsibilities. Independently manage segments in functional areas, such as data gathering, detailed analysis, and report generation. 402Policy Establishment and Review. Apply policies and processes to ensure that all sourcing activities comply with company and regulatory directives. Measure and implement best practices for procurement operations and maintaining system information to ensure accurate and complete information. Strive to continuously improve procurement performance by utilizing and understanding best practices, lessons learned and industry trends by participating in industry associations.153Systems. Provide expertise in process and systems; contribute to the development and implementation of enterprise-wide procurement processes and systems including documentation; optimize requisition-to-payment processes and information systems based upon business needs, performance, and strategic objectives. 104Data and Program Analysis. Evaluate and measure vendor performance to ensure performance meets contract commitment. Provide analysis, logistical, and administrative support for quotes, supply channel, and other business analysis tools. Provide detailed analysis and information which may have financial impact on sourcing decisions155Strategic and Support Activities. Assist sourcing team with supplier selection, price negotiation and bid evaluation process. Provide necessary parties with critical supply information necessary to plan supply expense accounts.
