Supervise, mentor and monitor the actives of a sales team and be responsible for team costs and budgets.Manage major accounts/contracts and seek out, negotiate, and bring to completion contractual relationships for crushed limestone products.Develop pricing strategy for regional quarry markets primarily located in the state of Virginia and secondary sites in Eastern States including but not limited to PA, GA, AL, OH, and KY.Oversee customer sales budget, forecasts and team reports.Participate as an active member of appropriate Carmeuse Cross Functional Market TeamsMaintain a database of all customers and potential customers, and ensure this database contains all relevant information required to drive our sales and marketing initiatives.Oversee customer pricing and quotes for direct customers and team members accounts through use of Carmeuse policy and management input.Keep fully abreast of crushed limestone and competing products competitors, market pricing and competitor customers.Provide support to team members at Key customers and prospects when required to do so.Take additional direction from the VP Sales Aggregates & Metallurgical Limestone as needed from time to time.Required Skills
·       Minimum of 10 years experience in the field of selling crushed limestone .
·       Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in a related business curriculum.
·       Seasoned sales professional with a high level of technical knowledge relating to the construction, agriculture, cement and metallurgical markets.
·       Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are essential, coupled with an ability to interface effectively with senior management at customers, business partners and within Carmeuse.
·        Must possess a high level of competency with common computer tools including MSexcel, MSWord, MSpower point and sales data bases is a must.
·       Excellent interpersonal and organization skills a must.
