Helix Corporate Human Resources has a need for a dynamic and talented Senior Web Developer for the Information Technology Group.  The Senior Web Developer will work as the primary internet and intranet web system expert with-in the company. A primary responsibility of this position will be to develop workflow and content management to meet the companies growing need for computer enabled process flow. Example of this will include providing forms work flow to process company approval and audit tracking or providing notification work flow to update essential personnel on business process status for failures.

 

Additional Responsibilities Include (but aren’t limited to): Provide leadership and project management in the development and maintenance of web based process solutions for the world wide organization’s automation needs. Mange through all stages of development and project management; including requirements gathering, system design, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, training, implementation, support, and post delivery enhancements. Designs, develops, tests and implements software applications and work flow for web based systems. Manage and support Microsoft SharePoint intranet and internet systems. Work with business elements to translate specific business needs into web based solution. Develop well designed, highly efficient, and well commented process flow and or programming code. Develop and provide end user training on web based application implementations. Troubleshoot issues by completely defining problem, research cause, develop and test proposed fix, and implement using company Altiris helpdesk system.  Maintain high degree of proficiency in professional area; this includes scheduling and completing training specific to job task and objectives yearly. Maintain current knowledge on industry news, trends and techniques for their discipline.


Minimal Job Requirements: In-depth knowledge of web based solutions and technology with specific knowledge and experience in Microsoft solutions (i.e. SharePoint, InfoPath, .Net development, etc).  BA Degree in a programming discipline (or 5 or more years experience in applications development and support).  2+ years experience in building SharePoint sites, setting up workflows, defining security, including experience in best practice for security setup. Must have experience developing workflow with-in SharePoint.  3+ years experience in development of .Net web-based applications.  Experience in web and data applications and tools including Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL Server, SQL development, HTML, CGI, JavaScript, SharePoint, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Visual Basic, InfoPath, and DocAve.  Must have experience developing workflow with SharePoint. Must have an understanding of full life cycle development with specific knowledge in designs, development, and implementation of web programming and applications management.  Knowledge and understanding of industry standards and best practices.  Proven project management skills and ability to multi-task.  Excellent communications skills and ability to work closely with a variety of personnel.  A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
