U. S. Steel Tubular Products, Inc., a leading producer of seamless and welded pipe for the energy industry, has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Maintenance Manager at its Texas Operations in Houston, TX. This position will report to the Division Manager and will coordinate mechanical maintenance activities . Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

· Administration of the U. S. Steel Tubular Products safety program to ensure a safe work environment within the operating facility.

· Supervise, direct and coordinate the efforts of experienced shift managers, technicians, craftsmen and project planners to repair and maintain equipment to keep the operations running at maximum efficiency with minimum interruption. 

· Leads completion of a variety of administrative processes including crew scheduling, outage planning, and other reporting as necessary by the operating facility.

  Electrical Maintenance Coordinator

Job Requirements:


Must possess a thorough knowledge of mechanical assemblies, hydraulic units and princip;es, preferably in the metals, heavy manaufacturing or mining industries.

Must be competent with predictive and preventative maintenance procedures that will support a time based maintenance system.

Experience working with a bargaining unit is desirable.

7+ years supervisory experience required with at least 2 years at a shift manager level/role.
