Job in Atlanta 30301, Georgia US Novelis is the world leader in aluminum rolling, producing an estimated 19 percent of the world's flat-rolled aluminum products.We are the No. 1 rolled products producer in Europe, South America and Asia, and the No. 2 producer in North America.  Formed as a Canadian corporation in January 2005, Novelis is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hindalco Industries Limited -- Asia’s largest integrated producer of aluminum and a leading producer of copper.  For more information, please visit www.novelis.com Novelis is currently hiring an Essbase & Planning Administrator.  This individual will be responsible for all Hyperion ESSBASE Administration supporting a Hyperion System 9.2 platform.This individual must have proven ESSBASE experience and will support the Client Services and Finance teams.  The successful candidate should possess good communication skills and be able to track and complete multiple requests with conflicting priorities in a dynamic environment and must have prior experience generating reports of an ad hoc and recurring nature. Primary ResponsibilitiesCreate and modify ESSBASE & Planning applications to meet ongoing future business requirements Configuration of ESSBASE components as it relates to Hyperion Planning 9.2, including database structure, calc scripts, and complex Business Rules Built, create and maintain complex Business Rules and Calc scripts Monitor and report system performance, availability, and utilization Developed ESSBASE cubes using Block/Aggregate storage & Partitioning Optimize and tune existing ESSBASE applications to enhance application performance Develop Hyperion ESSBASE outline design and reports; Create necessary objects to meet report requirements Migrated the development from development server to test server for QA testing Analyzing and implementing enhancements Coordinating and implementing system upgrades Responding to incidents/issues Performing data loads/exports  Design and presentation of training material to end users RequirementsRequired Skills: Hands on design, configuration and delivery experience using ESSBASE for Hyperion Planning through at least 1 full life cycle, 2 or more preferred Strong ESSBASE background and processes Ability to implement customized financial models designed to meet the customer requirements Ability to create dynamic solutions based on complex business owner planning and forecasting requirements Ability to build prototypes and lead scoping discussions per Business requirements Strong understanding of system architecture and design Excellent documentation skills are required Superior presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills    Preferred Skills:   Solid Experience (min 3-5 Years) with Hyperion Planning/ESSBASE Understanding of other Hyperion Reporting products such as Hyperion Reports, Hyperion Analyzer Good SQL skills Willingness to accept responsibility and solve problems Proactive personality, ability to anticipate potential problems  Additional Information Position Type: Full Time, Employee Contact Information Apply by Email Novelis Inc.
