We are currently seeking an experienced Branch Manager to direct the operations in our Houston location.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Regional Manager, this position plays a pivotal role in the overall operations and success of the store, in terms of profitability, customer satisfaction, employee development and operational effectiveness. The Branch Manager is responsible for the safe and effective day-to-day operations of the store and in leading the team, ensuring our commitment to the highest level of service is achieved.
Responsibilities
Provide consistent, superior service by ensuring that all customer needs are recognized and serviced, and that satisfaction is highly maintained at all times.Manage and contribute to all aspects of effectively running the store including customer assistance, purchasing, quoting, telesales, product sourcing and material handling.Provides input into the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to achieve/surpass budgeted sales and profit objectives.Maximize individual and team potential of direct reports, by establishing clear performance expectations and standards, providing constructive feedback, coaching and training.Evaluate the performance of direct reports and make recommendations to Regional Manager. Plan, prepare and approve work schedules, vacation requests and overtime.Ensure the compliance of company policies/safety procedures resulting in a clean and safe working environment.Ensure proper maintenance of company vehicles and equipment.
