Invetech is a leading product development company with over 30 years experience in providing innovative design and engineering services that have delivered over $1 billion of value to our clients. We are in an exciting period of growth, with a new office in the San Diego area and an opportunity for a Business Development Manager with an IVD and point of care background to join the team. As an integral part of the Instrument Design and Development you will take a lead role in identifying, selling and operating development projects and establishing the Invetech group in San Diego.
This position has direct responsibility for sales prospection, conversion and leading projects in the San Diego office as well as supporting the broader Instrument Design and Development offering. You will be required to provide senior level representation for Invetech with prospective and existing clients. The primary targets of these clients will be in the point of care and laboratory instrumentation space, for the Diagnostics and Life Science Research industries. This will require you to be involved in writing proposals, assisting in contract negotiations, developing and reviewing concepts and leading projects, whilst always maintaining and managing client relationships.
To be successful in this role you will have relevant qualifications in Engineering or Science. You will have a working knowledge of instrument development and a track record in the identification and development of relationships through a consultative selling method. A proven network with key clients in the diagnostics and life science market will be highly advantageous . As a self-motivated, results driven and energetic individual, you will be able to build executive level relationships and position Invetech as an innovative engineering and design company and trusted advisors.
This role will require you to travel regularly and also work independently.
