Calls on, and is responsive to, existing and prospective customers, in order to solve customer problems and challenges, while enhancing long term customer relationships. Develops new accounts and grows existing accounts within established geographic territory. Meets assigned sales quotas. Responds to request for information and data from sales management and corporate administration. Works within boundaries of all corporate policies and guidelinesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Meets or exceeds established territory sales goals. Meets or exceeds territory targets for Gross Profit Margin Percentages. Organizes and plans territory for efficient and productive coverage by own initiatives as well as by utilization of company’s sales business tools, e.g. Business Plan, Monthly Trial Activity Report, Account Profiles, etc. Acquires, maintains, and expands laptop computer proficiency. Routinely spends a significant amount of time selling and servicing in the operating room during procedures. Typically calls upon customers in the hospital and in the office setting. Utilizes sales presentation skills to sell company products in an assigned territory via consultative selling presentations to customers that generate closing ratios required to achieve quotas. Utilizes company’s Promotional and Bundling packages (e.g. GYRUS ACMI, INC. Rewards, GYRUS ACMI, INC. Financials) and other company resources to meet sales results. Manages time within all accounts to ensure attainment of monthly sales quota in all product categories. Follows-up with customers during pre- and post-sales efforts to ensure proper customer-company relationships. Maintains a complete prospect, competitor, and customer database and provides information to management as needed or requested. Acquires, maintains and expands knowledge of company’s products, competitive products, and the market in order to meet the customers’ needs. Represents company at trade association meetings to promote products and meet with key customers relative to progressing sales and associated business goals. Acts in a professional manner when representing the company. Utilizes and maintains field inventory and other company assets (laptop computer, etc.) for optimum sales results. Completes and maintains sales paperwork and other records in an orderly fashion and submits in a timely and accurate manner. Maintains and controls the expenses in the territory while providing routine coverage to all accounts. Provides Marketing with technical and market information gathered through customer contacts. Gathers data for new and existing products to help Marketing satisfy market needs. Report customer product experience issues through appropriate channels in an accurate and timely manner. Works as a team player with other team members within the Region, Area, and nation. Demonstrates a willingness and openness to help others within the Region, Area, or nation be successful. Shares Best Practices. Other related job objectives and special assignments as typically performed by the Territory Manager.
