Telemarketing Representative

 

Telemarketing Representative primary objective is to reach out to the Animal laboratory Sciences decision makers to schedule demos.  Secondary to AALAS is reaching out to targeted specific market segments to generate interest and schedule demonstrations of the VetScan product line via outbound calls from the Abaxis headquarters.  Promote the Abaxis Product line, gather referrals, and set up demos for the field representative to follow up on.  They are an Abaxis advocate and will garner all and any resources internally or externally to assure satisfaction

 

DESCRIPTION:

  Generate leads/interest in the following areas: AALAS University Teaching Hospitals Equine/Large Animal Market High Volume/High Profile Accounts Data entry into salesforce.com and pull reports on an as-needed basis for ROI evaluation. Identify targets and maintain lists. Document all contact information in the current customer management system. Send requested information to potential customers immediately.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  BS Degree in Business or Scientific Field preferred. Legally eligible to work in the US. Possess reliable transportation. Minimum of Associates Degree, preference given to science emphasis (i.e. veterinary technician, medical assistant, LPN) Excellent telephone manner as this position has extensive contact with people via the phone.  Required good phone presentation and manner and the ability to maintain composure in difficult situations. Basic computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, Data Entry). Team player.
