Canon U.S.A. has an opportunity for a Systems Engineer in their Medical Division. The Systems Engineer will perform maintenance on existing Digital Radiography products and its software products. You will provide on-site and remote (on-line/phone) technical support to customers and dealers to ensure optimum system performance. You will also develop technical training materials and conduct training of dealer technical personnel, on products and new/upgraded software to ensure proper support of the products. Responsibilities will also include performing customer site analysis to determine configuration needs, considering wiring and telecommunications set-ups, etc., and making configuration recommendation to Sales and Marketing. You will install DR systems at customer sites and assist in the analysis, development, proper set-up and use of new system (peripheral) components, including software and hardware, for customers. The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in computer science or engineering with at least 3-4 years experience. Certifications and skills required includes, Windows NT, XP Pro, VISTA systems administration, networking knowledge using TCP/IP, DICOM, HL-7 and good understanding of x-ray systems and connectivity.
