Sr. Sales Analyst, Medical Device
Senior Sales and Pricing Analyst Category: Finance Description: This role analyzes, interprets, and presents actionable information to provide field sales, sales management and senior management with a valid and reliable basis for strategic and tactical sales decisions. Calculates commission payments to field sales and sales management based on commission plan provisions, as well as reporting on distributor sales and calculation of incentives. Also responsible for establishing key performance metrics and tracking ongoing performance against those baselines. Makes recommendations to senior leadership on areas for continuous improvement.Requirements: Education and Experience: * Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience required. MBA preferred. * Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience required in areas such as financial analysis, sales, or other related experience. * Expertise in the medical device industry or high volume manufacturing selling through distribution a plus.Knowledge/Skills: * Excellent analytical skills. * Understanding of the medical/surgical sales environment for both primary and acute care through distribution. * Able to verify and follow through, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments and communications related to sales compensation plans and distributor incentives. * Extensive computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word), knowledge of Crystal Reports programming and SQL script writing required. * Proven problem solving abilities. * Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently on complex issues. * Ability to think strategically and bring a high level of creativity to the organization. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * Familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures of field sales. * High degree of ethics and professionalism with ability to handle confidential information.
