PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Responsible for improving and maintaining Quality system to assure compliance to government regulations and achievement of quality policy objectives. Corporate wide support of customer documents and industry standards. Deputy management representative for the Quality system. Must be able to meet requirement for per the details in the quality manual. Provide management with updates on the status of the Quality system and all aspects there of. Design and conduct training programs to educate employees on Quality system and regulatory requirements. Improve and maintain existing Quality system to allow efficient flow of activities while meeting all regulations. Manage customer audits of our Quality system. Including scheduling, conducting and responding. Review and approve documents as required. Assist with personal development plans for all direct reports. Ensures that customer requirements are determined and met. Communicate to the organization the importance of meeting customer, as well as statutory and regulatory requirements. Ensure that quality objectives are established at relevant functions and levels within the organization. Communicate the company’s Quality Policy and ensure that all employees within the organization understand it. Identify and implement any changes necessary to ensure and maintain the continued suitability of the quality management system. Identify and implement continuous improvement, as appropriate. Communicate, by word and example, the importance of complying with ISO 13485:2003 and U.S. Regulations. Promotes all aspects of the corporate culture. Directly supervises Document Control Department and Quality System Specialist. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
