Sr. Lean Six Sigma Leader

We are currently seeking a Sr. Lean Six Sigma Leader. This position is responsible for identifying and leading Peripheral Vascular (PV) Division improvement initiatives that are critical to achieving growth and profitability targets. Help transform the Divisional Operations team into a Lean Six Sigma organization. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead improvement efforts: · Work with Operations leaders to map current and create future state Value Stream Maps · Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities that align with Divisional objectives and that ultimately lead the organization to the future state · Work with Value Stream Directors to secure funding (capital, expense and people) for high value improvement opportunities · Plan and lead Operations improvement initiatives (kaizen events, projects) · Present plans and results to Operational management Develop team and operations organization: · Work with the Lean Six Sigma team and Operations leaders to develop and implement a continuous improvement methodology · Train and mentor Operations staff on Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools · Provide development feedback to project participants This position is located at our manufacturing facility in Plymouth, MN. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: · Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related science required · Masters Degree preferred Experience: · 7+ years manufacturing process improvement experience · 2+ years experience managing staff · Demonstrated success leading multiple projects simultaneously · Demonstrated success driving cross-functional/multi-departmental improvements · Independently prioritized self/team activities based on organizational objectives · Demonstrated success using Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, Standard Operations, Standard Work, Total Productive Maintenance tools to achieve dramatic improvement results · Certified Six Sigma Black Belt · Experience training and mentor teams on continuous improvement methods · Ability to work with Operations Management to develop improvement project selection criteria that are integrated with business drivers · Project Management Institute (PMI) training preferred Medical device industry experience preferredJob Code : 804 Division/Department : CARDI Travel Required : None
