What Product Engineering contributes to Cardinal Health
Product Engineering is responsible for developing iterations, modifying, implementing and supporting existing products that function within the product families through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices.


What is expected of you for success in your roleDemonstrates working knowledge of Engineering principles and its application in solving standard technical problemsDemonstrates working knowledge of product design and developmentTests, analyzes and solves technical problems with moderate guidanceVerifies design inputs and establishes appropriate design outputs and qualifies designs with moderate guidanceMaintains product designs and interfaces with suppliers where appropriate

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field required (Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering) A minimum of 2+ years related work experience required Ability to work independently and as a member of a team required A minimum of 2+ years of medical device experience required Proficient in Microsoft Office applications required Minimum of 10% travel required Proficient in ProE or Solidworks software applications preferred
