Service Contract Administrator
Center Valley, PA - The Service Contract Administrator is responsible for managing the daily administration of Olympus Equipment Service Agreements for customers of Medical Systems Group (MSG) products. EOE M/F/D/V
* Perform routine departmental administrative and maintenance processes and procedures for Service Contracts. Demonstrate efficiency with managing competing priorities to ensure success in meeting established deadlines.
* Review customers' service history and compile prospective contract documentation.
* Maintain executed contracts in Olympus' JD Edwards order entry and processing system.
* Process contract invoices, credits, and ‘credit and re-bills'.
* Function as the primary contact for service contract related issues for the sales force, field service engineering, other related departments and customer service representatives. Balance multiple priorities based on the needs of the sales force, customer, and departmental requirements.
* Successfully communicate the Service Contract product offering to customers internal or external to the organization.
* Demonstrate the ability to master the JDE software package used on our mainframe AS400 system. Specific functions include the preparation of customer repair histories, order entry, invoicing, and inquiries.
* Develop Equipment Service Agreement pricing, based on established tools, methodology, history, and various mathematical calculations.
* Proactively monitor the status of Service Contracts with an emphasis on actions that will prevent the customer from exceeding their contract value.
* Effectively review and negotiate contract terms with the oversight of the Olympus Legal Dept.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
(ONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED)
* An Associate's degree in Accounting is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Paralegal or Business Administration, or equivalent knowledge is a plus.
* Must possess three years of prior experience in contract administration.
* A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, is essential.
* Must have demonstrated written and oral skills as well as an aptitude for details.
