Service Center Supervisor

Job DescriptionEnsure testing is conducted on ruggedized portable computer products according to established standards and procedures Identifies issues with products testing and initiates appropriate corrective action / recommendations for continues improvements to products production team Directs the activities of employees engaged in testing products Analyzes test equipment needs and problems affecting product quality / delivery schedules Assist in the planning or project budgeting and strategic planning Reports to the Director of Quality Assurance

 

Skills Required

Posses the skills / knowledge required to Set-up calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, electrical/mechanical assemblies and computers Perform hand set-ups for digital tests, recognizes failures and set-up problems and determines need for appropriate verification Operate programmable auto-testers, samplers, real-time oscilloscopes, pulse generators, meters, power supplies and special test fixtures Prepare written reports and may make recommendations for procedural changes to internal company processes



Possess the supervisory skills need to provide leadership and train test technicians


Education / Experience Requirements

Requires a bachelor’s degree in and engineering discipline and a minimum of five (5) years of directly related test experience. Requires a minimum of two (2) years experience as a supervisor of product test processes / personnel within a Quality Assurance organization.


Other RequirementsMust have fluent / effective communication skills in verbal / written English Must be a US citizen – this position supports federal government contracts The ability of obtain / maintain a DISCO Security Clearance at the SECRET Level is required Some travel may be required for this position Local candidate are preferred
