Senior Software Engineer for Medical Device Company

Position Requirements: Extensive knowledge of desktop application development, particularly C#/.NET Strong affinity for objected-oriented programming and design patterns. Extensive experience with GUI, GDI+, and custom controls development. Aptitude for graphic design is a plus Track record of shipping products on time Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills a must. Demonstrated experience in working within a multi-disciplinary team in a fast paced, technically challenging environment. Relevant product development and / or industry experience required. Application packaging experience with recent knowledge of Installshield


Required Experience:

 

·6+ years minimum work experience in Software Engineering for the Microsoft Windows platform, preferably in an agile development environment (XP, Scrum, etc). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferred Experience:Medical device experience helpful Experience with modern software configuration management tools (Perforce or Subversion preferred) Scripting experience: Unix Shell script, Perl, Ant, Make, and Windows bat / cmd Understanding of networking (switching, routing) and network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP) Microsoft certification (MCP for any .NET area)
