We are currently seeking a Senior SAP SCM-Planning consultant. This is a full time opportunity that will be located in our Lake Zurich IL corporate offices.
SAP Specialist – Supply Chain - APOSAP support specialists who are very pro-active; i.e., those who will work independently on some assignments as well as under direction on larger, more complex programs or application developments. The Specialists will work directly with users to define needs for minor system enhancements, and with a Project Lead or Manager for enhancements with significant business requirements.
Responsibilities include:Supports:Various activities for the SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP SCM 2007SAP MM-IM, SAP SCM 2007 (DP and SNP)Other applications as assigned.Performs primary and second level support activities, including:Fixing bugsRoutine maintenanceOngoing business modificationsParticipates in enhancement projects.Independently answers user questions.Resolves complex issues independently.Provides support work that includes:Problem analysis, solution and preventionProgrammingConfigurationTestingDocumentationCompletes maintenance assignments, which can include updating, enhancing, and/or streamlining the technical functions of the system.Participates in Application Lifecycle upgrade projects.Performs system developments, including:Defining requirements for system modification via user interviews and researchWriting specifications to meet requirements by matching functionality with business needs, technical design, configuration, testing and documentationContributes to business process design; may develop training, and train End Users.Works with other technical teams for activities such as identification and selection of technical alternatives, security design and external data processes. Provides vendor documentation, as well as internal and external resources to learn and understand system capabilities.Configures SAP tools to deliver functionality including: IMG/Configuration
o Solution Manager Configuration
· Manage the resource plan and priorities of the direct reports
· Mentor, coach, and possible discipline direct reports. Conduct reviews and manage resources.
· Conduct reviews and provide on-going feedback to direct reports.
