Senior Product Manager - Medical Device Company

Position Summary:

This is a new position.  Position will manage all aspects of product management for complex products and new and emerging technologies/applications.  Develop long and short-term strategies and plans for market development.  Implement marketing plans to maintain and expand market leadership position including positioning, pricing and promotion.

 

Works with customers and field teams to map customer requirements and implement these in the product development process. Coordinates project related activities across such functions as Sales, Engineering, Finance, Clinical, and Regulatory Affairs and in partnership with other product marketing managers and sales. Advises other product managers on connectivity and workflow models for managing information/POC flow. Develops plans for alliances and partnerships with providers of IT products and services to healthcare organizations.

 

Experience with healthcare, and/or implementation of HIT systems desirable. Clinical background a plus.

 

Travel for this position will be 25%. 

 

Minimum Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or Clinical Informatics (or equivalent experience).8+ years professional marketing experience; biomedical industry preferred.

 

Solid experience in relationship management.

 

Experience in software systems or software development required.  Experience with IV therapy, infusion technology, and healthcare information systems a plus.
