BUSINESS ANALYST, CAMPAIGN REPORTING

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Three to five years of professional experience.

 

Previous experience in a data mining environment, devoted to list generation and campaign response/conversion reporting is required.

 

At least three years of strong SQL skill experience is required including stored procedure development.

 

Experience w/COGNOS 8 Reporting tool is required.

 

Experience with ETL processes/tools a plus.

 

Strong PC skills; Proficiency in Excel is a must.

 

Proven experience accessing, manipulating, and analyzing disparate data sources and large-scale databases; Experience with Teradata is a plus

 

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

 

Must have a high level of organizational and interpersonal skills, be detail oriented, have the flexibility to cope with change, and the ability to multitask across a variety of assignments.

 

Self motivated team player able to work both independently and in conjunction with business owners and other stakeholders to define requirements and perform requested tasks.

 

Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

 

Ability to assess required levels of effort, set appropriate expectations, make recommendations for optimal process design and support the use of best practices

 

An understanding of database marketing programs, so as to be effective in soliciting business needs and translating them into technical specifications.

 

Experience in Direct Marketing, and/or Pharmaceutical Benefit Management Industry preferred.

 

This position will also be responsible for the creation of data marts via ETL & data validation tools that will be used to generate campaign response reports through COGNOS.  These reports will be used to support the driving of successful communications and marketing product & program initiatives.

 

Experience using SAS to support ad hoc reporting /analysis requests is a plus. 

 

The position requires the individual to research and understand information sources, so as to apply functional requirements toward the development of communication campaigns and reports.

 

Candidates must be able to function in a fast paced environment and be able to manage multiple projects. This position will report to a Manager on the CSG Campaign Management team.

Establish and execute processes for Quality Control.

 

Education Required:   BABS degree preferred.
