We are looking for a mid level Scientist for a temp-to-perm opportunity at a leading medical device company in Northeast Atlanta. This individual will work in a team setting to provide both QC, R&D and validation support for the analytical department.  This individual must have practical working experience with liquid (HPLC) and gas chromatography (GC) using Waters and related software in a regulated FDA, GLP/GMP pharmaceutical or medical device laboratory.  This individual may also assist in performing standardized testing to include a variety of analytical and wet chemistry techniques to include: UV/Vis, Tensiometer, Kjeldahl, IR, FT-NIR and viscometers.  Key skill requirements: BS Chemistry with 4+ years relevant experience OR MS Chemistry (Analytical emphasis) with 2 years relevant experience assisting in design of experiments (DOE), developing new analytical test procedures (SOPs) and participating in validations/special projects as requested. Candidates who have proven industry experience with troubleshooting, calibrating and standardizing equipment (GC and HPLC), preparing mobile phase and/or solutions are encouraged to apply.  This position is 1st shift, Monday thru Friday.
