SR. TOOLING ENGINEER
SUMMARY OF POSITION:Responsible for planning, developing, procuring, debug and validation of all required assembly tooling to support development products in R&D.and existing products.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:• Participate in R&D product development meetings• Support Design for Assembly analysis• Interpret, plan and develop technical and financial specifications of prototype and production assembly tooling• Design assembly tooling using CAD/CAM also act as liaison for outsourcing of assembly tooling • Perform assembly tooling design reviews• Oversee manufacture and qualification of assembly tooling• Support new product development qualification process assuring all assembly tooling needs are met• Support product transfer to production plants providing assembly tooling lists and designs• Adhere to safety policy proceduresDEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.2.
