Robotic Finisher
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:Perform robotic and hand polishing/buffing operations on products using various abrasive belts, buffs, compounds, and greases to attain the required cosmetic and blueprint specifications on the product. Maintains equipment and produces products to department goals and guidelines.NOTE: This position will require the employee to work with chemical, radiological, or biological agents that may be hazardous to health, if mishandled (including agents which may potentially affect reproduction or the fetus). Employees will be required to follow all safety procedures and use personal protective clothing/equipment where specified. Inquiries for further information should be directed to the interviewing supervisor and/or an EHS representative. QUALIFICATIONS:1. One year experience of orthopaedic polishing or buffing experience of a variety of metals. Robotic or CNC control experience preferred.2. Must be proficient at blueprint reading and performing inspection using micrometers, calipers, comparator, and gauges. Must be certified inspection techniques within 30 days.3. Must be able to work in a team/cellular manufacturing.Education: High School Diploma / GEDJob Level: 3 - 5 yearsPercent Travel: No Travel
