Regional Medical Device Sales Manager ($45K Base)
This rapidly growing national veterinary equipment company founded in 2001, is looking for a proven sales professional. This company is a leader in its industry. They are looking for a regional sales manager for the Southeast United States. Responsibilities: ·Achieve annual sales quota by prioritizing selling time to generate sales volume ·Achieve dealer organizational involvement to increase dealer field rep productivity ·Identify and develop strategic veterinary reference sites and luminaries in assigned region ·Collaborate regularly with corporate in house management regarding these references and key dealer productivity issues ·Develop, implement, and update quarterly, and annual Business Plan supporting attainment of quota ·Maintain sufficient identified business to support a “Balanced” sales funnel as defined by management ·Teamwork with other field personnel and distributor channel partners to maximize sales effiency, account penetration and market share growth ·Represent our company as a technological leader and vendor of choice through regular product presentations, evaluations, dealer partner and customer training and sales calls as required by management ·Maintain high level of product knowledge of our products and competitors products ·Participate in veterinary trade meetings, labs, seminars and attend regional and national veterinary meetings ·Maintain complete knowledge of each dealer account and major end user accounts current and long term purchasing plans and objectives, coordinated with the dealer partner ·Keep management informed of all changes in plans, objectives and key buying influences this business ·Maintain dealer and key end user account profiles, forecasts, etc updated on a daily basis ·Implement established sales and marketing strategies as requested by management and develop information pertaining to sales situations and territorial sales strategies. Coordinate territorial sales resources ·Maintain account profiles, forecasts on a daily basis ·Develop information pertaining to sales situations ·Control regional sales expenditures, monitor expenses performance and ensure that regional budget goals are obtained ·Control, inspect and maintain consignment inventory equipment at prescribed levels ·Maintain demo inventory in salable condition, including proper storage, movement and record keeping ·Submit accurate reports regarding expenses, activities, results, market position and monthly forecast ·Maintain current and adequate supply of product literature, and other sales tools for customer distribution ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE EXP IN MEDICAL/VETERINARY INDUSTRY SALES TO EVEN BE CONSIDERED !!!!!!!!!!·Must have demonstrated ability to achieve sales objectives by developing and maintaining an assigned territory ·Self-starter, high energy levels, relishes a challenge ·Experience in motivating, training and coaching distributor reps ·A good problem solver ·Be willing to travel up to 70% ·A minimum of five years DEMONSTRATED and DOCUMENTED success in sales and sales management ·BA/BS Degree ·Must find it exciting to build and grow with a new veterinary company ·Must have and maintain a good driving record ·Must have a clean criminal and credit background ·Must be able to motivate others At Manpower, our mission is to serve as trusted advisors in the changing world of work.
